Birth of Christianity
At the beginning of the book of Acts, before Jesus Christ ascended into heaven, He instructed His followers to wait in Jerusalem to be baptized with the Holy Spirit. This baptism would empower the believers, and they would be His witnesses. This was the birth of Christianity. Luke, the physician, is the author of this book. Compare Luke 1:1-4 with Acts 1:1-3.
